I’m Janine Manning, a Private Strategic Thought Partner to executives and established founders in pivotal moments when navigating decisions, challenges and opportunities that carry real weight.

Senior leadership in corporate or the entrepreneurship arena can be surprisingly isolating. The more responsibility you hold, the fewer people you can speak to with complete honesty, and the harder it becomes to find someone who understands the business context, the human dynamics and what is personally at stake.

That is where I come in.

I work at the intersection of coaching, strategic counsel and consulting, providing a trusted space to untangle your thinking, make sense of what is really happening and decide how to move forward.

Because important business decisions are rarely only about the business. They are also about identity, confidence, power, relationships, reputation, ambition and risk. I help you see the whole picture, including the parts that can be difficult to recognise when you are in the thick of it.

I listen deeply, read people and situations quickly and pay attention to what is being said, and what remains unsaid. I connect the dots between your ambitions, decisions, stakeholders, and reputation, while keeping in sight the commercial realities, competing priorities, and practical next steps around you.

But I am not a passive sounding board.

I ask the questions that sharpen your thinking. I offer an independent point of view when you need one. I challenge the assumptions that may be limiting you and help turn a difficult conversation into a decision, and a decision into meaningful movement.

My style is warm, candid and commercially grounded. I will be firmly in your corner, but I will not simply tell you what you want to hear. I care enough about your success to test your thinking, strengthen your decisions and help you recognise when fear, habit or self-doubt may be getting in your way.

I also bring a future-focused perspective. I see both the capability you already possess and what could become possible with greater clarity, confidence and intention. My instinct is to help good people, ideas and strategies become more effective, credible and influential.

Sometimes you will need space to think aloud without being judged or managed. Sometimes you will want a sense check before an important decision, meeting, or conversation. My perfectly imperfect story

We are shaped by our past, but we are the drivers of our future.

And there is always something within our control to create more confidence, joy, and success, on our terms.

That belief runs deep in me. I come from a long line of determined hustlers who taught me that greatness isn’t reserved for the chosen few; it’s built through clarity, courage and internal drive. I grew up a country kid in a small coastal town with big dreams and a quiet narrative that I wasn’t quite as smart as everyone else, that I’d need to work harder to keep up. So I did. I set high standards. I pushed. I compared. Career progression, the title and salary, became my gauge of success.

Marketing was my first proving ground, a place where I could combine my love of people with my instinct for positioning and standing out. I rose into leadership with the title, the remit and the external markers of success… but internally, something was off. My passion waned. Imposter thoughts grew louder. I second-guessed myself in boardrooms, diluted my voice, and, at times, strategically shrank to stay safe. From the outside, it looked like success. On the inside, it felt like survival. I was the opposite of thriving.

Discovering executive coaching changed everything. It didn’t just revive my energy; it brought me home to myself. I realised my real superpower isn’t strategy alone; it’s about truly seeing someone and building motivational momentum together. I learnt to own my value, began to back myself, and now I help others do the same.

As a courageous Leo with empathy as my greatest strength, I build deep, trusted relationships. As a maximiser, I see the potential for excellence and elevate it. And as a natural activator, I don’t let insight sit idle; I turn it into action. (Just ask my husband and kids, things move in our house!)
